My political views

This man speaks the truth, and sums up my views perfectly in easy to understand language. Both parties are full of unsavory people, but I loved how Herman Cain told black people to get off the Democrat plantation.

I would like to add, on a different subject, the difference between collectivism, and individualism. (Or another way of putting that democracy and socialism.)

Quote from Tocqueville: "Democracy extends the sphere of individual freedom. Socialism restricts it. Democracy attaches all possible value to each man; socialism makes each man a mere agent, a mere number. Democracy and socialism have nothing in common but one word: equality. But notice the difference: while democracy seeks equality in liberty, socialism seeks equality in restraint and servitude."

I'd call the redistribution of wealth, the poor state of the economy, the government restrictions, and the enormous tax burden on little more than half of the country (because almost half pay no taxes), and the unfathomable debt the country is in, restraint and servitude.

Quotes from The Road to Serfdom, by F.A. Hayek
