Our latest storm

We were supposed to be a lot of places this day. Oh well!

D shoveling.

Bunny tracks on the porch.
Tracking it all in.
Poor chickens.

Me going for a walk with my boys.
Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound’s the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
The above branch is a place to sit in a cave of trees and pray.

An unexpected surprise from Uncle Jeremy, Aunt Kim, Cousins E & E!

Horses Evan made for History

Homeschool trip to a goat farm.  The Evan got to feed the goats and Leia and Charles loved it after they got over being scared of the goats.  Charles climbed up those metal wire fences you see and shouted "Me!" at the top to say, "Look at me!"
